Following its recent acquisition by United Infrastructure, Simkiss is entering an exciting new phase of growth, strengthening its technical capabilities and expanding its ability to deliver increasingly complex, end-to-end solutions across critical national infrastructure projects. * To lead switchgear installations, off-loading, installing busbars, bus wiring, and testing the switchgear panels/ system. * Integrate/assemble and modify switchgear assemblies and supervise others doing this activity. * Repair switchgear when required. * Carry out function tests, internal wiring, integration and testing duties when required. * Supervise and coordinate site teams to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification. * Allocate daily tasks and monitor the performance of engineers and labourers on site. * Act as the main point of contact on site for clients, contractors and other trades. * Ensure all work is carried out in line with project drawings, specifications and company standards. * Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks and ensure RAMS are followed at all times. * Identify and resolve on-site issues, escalating where necessary to the Engineering Manager. * Complete site documentation, including reports, test records and progress updates. * Support training and development of junior team members. * Report any safety concerns, incidents or near misses in line with co
