Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year, Ability to travel at short notice, long distances, Willing to work overtime when required, working away from home Monday – Friday, Comply with all site rules, PPE requirements and H&S regulations
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 years’ experience in a similar position, proven track record in electrical engineering, Excellent Engineering skills, Testing experience, Good computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook, Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Nice to Have
5 years’ experience in a similar position, Excellent communication skills, Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels, Ability to travel at short notice, long distances, Awareness of H+S regulations on site
What You'll Do.
Lead switchgear installations
Integrate/assemble switchgear assemblies
Carry out function tests
Supervise and coordinate site teams
Monitor performance of engineers
Act as main point of contact
Ensure work is carried out
Conduct site briefings
Ensure RAMS are followed
Identify and resolve on-site issues
Complete site documentation
Support training and development
Report safety concerns
Liaise with project management
Ensure quality standards are met
Comply with all site rules
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Supervise and coordinate site teams; Allocate daily tasks; Monitor performance of engineers and labourers on site; Act as the main point of contact on site for clients, contractors and other trades; Support training and development of junior team members; Liaise with project management regarding progress, delays and resource requirements

Communication; interpersonal skills; Excellent communication skills; Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels
Process & Methodology
