## ## **Company** ALPINE RACING LIMITED ## ## **Job Description** Alpine Formula One Team is looking for a detail-driven Inspector to join our Quality Control team on a Fixed Term Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of components used at the highest level of motorsport. **The Role** You will be responsible for inspecting complex components against engineering drawings and technical specifications, ensuring they meet exacting quality standards and are released efficiently to the next stage of production. **Key Responsibilities** * Inspect components to engineering drawings using GD&T and agreed sampling rates * Verify material and treatment documentation in line with specifications * Identify and record non-conformances clearly within company systems * Support manufacturing teams with first-off inspections and technical feedback * Maintain accurate inspection and job completion records * Ensure correct part marking, traceability, and documentation control * Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support continuous improvement * Contribute to efficiency improvements and inspection best practice **About You** **Essential:** * Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings (including GD&T) * Experience using inspection equipment such as CMMs, laser scanners, and bench tools * Experience using PolyWorks and PC-Dmis software * High attention to detail with accurate data recording skills * Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems * Ability to follow technical procedures and work to tight deadlines * Effective communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approach **Desirable:** * Experience creating or editing CMM inspection programmes * Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 * Knowledge of part marking, traceability, and inspection documentation processes **What We’re Looking For** * A flexible, self-motivated individual
