The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. **Job Description** As a Vehicle Condition Report (CR) Writer/Inspector, you will conduct thorough vehicle assessments, using a handheld computer to document vehicle condition, and note any damage or repair needs, producing a comprehensive Condition Report. Job Duties: * Perform detailed vehicle inspections, assessing areas like frame, paint, engine, AC, mechanical systems, tires, radio, and navigation systems. * Document vehicle condition details, including, including identification, damage description, repair cost estimates, and photos. * Adhere to inspection guidelines, work instructions, and procedural standards. * Conduct courtesy walk-arounds with client or other team members. * Ensure all safety and health protocols are followed. * Locate, start, and maneuver vehicles as needed. **Drug Testing** To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
