Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Drive net-new business development by proactively identifying, researching, and engaging potential customers across the EMEA region through outbound outreach, campaigns, calls, emails, and digital channels. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads while effectively managing CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot. Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer research needs, applications, and purchasing drivers in proteomics and biomarker studies. Collaborate with technical account managers and sales teams to design targeted prospecting strategies and convert leads into opportunities. Map key opinion leaders, decision-makers, and scientific networks to identify new commercial opportunities and expand market reach. Follow up on inbound and outbound leads, ensuring timely qualification and smooth handover to downstream sales teams. Track market trends and competitor activity within the proteomics and biotechnology space to inform outreach strategy and positioning. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field preferred. Proven experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation, ideally within biotechnology, diagnostics, or life sciences. Strong understanding of proteomics, biomarker research, or related scientific domains is highly desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills in a commercial and scientific context. Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and/or HubSpot. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets or quotas in a performance-driven environment.
