What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required, Four years of related experience and/or training may be considered in place of a degree

Nice to Have

Experience in customer service, order management, inside sales support, or a related role in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred, JD Edwards preferred, Experience supporting domestic and international orders preferred

What You'll Do.

Supports customer inquiries

and account coordination.

Serves as a key point of contact for customers and works closely with internal teams to provide accurate information on pricing

Ensures a smooth flow of information between customers and internal departments

Prepare and follow up on product quotations

Support preliminary RFQ activity

including gathering qualifying information and tracking RFQs through the system prior to quote stage

Enter customer orders and delivery changes into JD Edwards

Verify order delivery dates and support resolution of delivery delays

and resolve customer issues in coordination with Production Control

and other internal teams

Support return authorizations and customer repair activity through the process until resolution

Maintain customer account information

including part number cross references

contract delivery details

Support monthly sales forecast activities and contribute data for forecasting efforts

Prepare reports and spreadsheets to support sales activity

and internal tracking

and pricing history to support order management and issue identification

Communicate unresolved or elevated customer issues through appropriate channels

Support domestic and international order documentation

including trade compliance requirements as applicable

Partner with internal teams to communicate customer needs and support day-to-day account activity

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products

and customer use cases
