What They're Looking For.
Must Have
M. S. or M. A. in Speech Pathology granted by an accredited university program, Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing or is in Clinical Fellowship Year, SLP-CCC is required for therapists in the following States per Medicaid billing requirement: DC, NC, WV, KY, MN, NE, KS, NM, NV, ID, BLS certification
Nice to Have
Serves as clinical instructor for speech language pathology students and supervises CFY as needed
What You'll Do.
Evaluating patient’s need for speech therapy
Planning and executing individual treatment programs
Re-evaluating patient’s status and effects of treatment
Evaluating patient’s need for medical equipment and orders the appropriate equipment
Participating in planning for patient discharge
Documenting patient’s status and progress
Communicating with others to integrate speech language pathology services
Instructing the patient and the family in speech language pathology procedures
Following all hospital policy and procedures
Meeting or exceeding program productivity expectations
Providing discipline specific coverage
Adhering to the Mary Free Bed Standards of Behavior

Inpatient - Speech Language PathologistDay Shift (United States of America) This full-time Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist role will support a range of diagnoses at the IRF level, including CVA, SCI, brain injury, debility, and dysphagia/voice.
