What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program, Met Board of Pharmacy requirements to obtain registration, PHRMTECHR-Registered Pharmacy Technician, 2 years recent relevant experience, Knowledge of medical terminology, Knowledge of generic and trade pharmaceutical names, Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, Knowledge of laws and regulations, Knowledge and understanding of different Pharmacy practice settings, Knowledge of controlled substances delivery and procedures, Ability to identify and employ pharmaceutical and medical terms, abbreviations and symbols, Basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards, Written and verbal communications skills, Well-developed time management and organizational skills, Ability to prioritize assignments, Ability to work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods, General knowledge of computer applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), Ability to perform basic pharmacy buyer duties

Prepare nutritional products
Compound nutritional products
Package nutritional products
Label nutritional products
Dispense nutritional products
Compound IV admixture
Dispense IV admixture
Adhere to cleaning protocols
Adhere to infection control policies
Maintain safe medication area
Maintain sterile medication area
Maintain laminar flow hoods
Assist with medicine inventory management
Assist with supplies inventory management
Control medicine inventory
