Full Job Description
We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SAFH-Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital **Position Overview:** Organizes and coordinates the day-to-day actives of the Pharmacy department and assumes the responsibility for compliance with all federal and state laws. Serves as the liaison between the department and staff, physicians, patients, family and other hospital staff. Delivers pharmaceutical care through the provision of patient-centered clinical service, medication information, education, medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. Exercises sound judgment and developed clinical skills to provide input to and implement the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department. Work as a lead with pharmacy staff to fulfill regulatory, operational and clinical need of pharmacy services, no direct report, assist to management team in project/initiative implementation, e.g., IV room lead, clinical lead at small affiliates, PIC at large affiliate with multi campus pharmacies. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** * PHARMD-Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** * PHARMR-Current registration or Registered Pharmacist within 120 days * ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support if required by the entity/department * PALS-Pediatric Life Support if required by the entity/department **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** * 3 years recent relevant experience **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Comprehensive knowledge of current
