What You'll Do.
provide assistance and support to the production teams
equipment preparation
supplies and services to all production equipment in order to reduce makeready and increase manufacturing efficiencies
receiving and distributing ink or other coatings used in manufacturing
Compare color of printing ink with sample to ensure adherence to formula or customer specifications
Check samples of new ink or coatings characteristics such as color
etc. to ensure it is within tolerances for machinery and finished product
Recycle and re-use ink by blending matches when possible
adhesives or any other special materials for jobs
Mount flexo plates on cylinders
Prepare anilox rollers for job
Mount gears and handles to plate cylinders or anilox rollers
Scope anilox rollers to determine size and condition
Inventory molded plates and order new ones if and when needed
Prepare rollers or cylinders to be shipped out for recondition when needed
All other duties as assigned
training and supporting new and existing team members
