What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Industrial, Mechatronic, Mechanic Engineering Degree, 5+ years of experience, in Harness manufacturing processes, 3+ years of experience with cable and wire machines and tools: cut, strip and terminate, crimp, terminals punching, wire marking, testers, AutoCAD experience, Spoken and written English, knowledge on elements of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout, Project management experience, Proven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programs, communication skills, Plans and prioritizes work effectively, adapting for changing conditions, Original thinking and an ability to identify problems and generate creative solutions
Nice to Have
HVAC Industries experience, Project Management Certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt
What You'll Do.
develop and validate manufacturing processes
Contribute to buildup of new production cells
Generate technical information of production processes
Maintain and improve existing manufacturing methods
Support capacity expansion plans
and maintain a safe work environment
Design manufacturing cells
Calculate and control capacities
Verify Time standards
Implement Engineering Changes
Facilitate A3 problem solving
Design future state value streams
Create technical documentation
Contribute to advancement of the organization
Support sharing of best practices
Evaluate and modify lay outs
Lead and update databases
Define headcount of operators
Work with multidisciplinary groups
Reduce high-risk priority numbers
Drive process related activities for NPI
and train Manufacturing Technicians
Perform other duties as assigned
