What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM), Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Minimum 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, Infusion certification or demonstrated hands-on IV infusion experience, Current CPR certification
Nice to Have
Experience administering biologics, oncology, or specialty pharmaceutical therapies, ACLS certification, Experience managing infusion-related adverse events, Comfort working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment, clinical assessment, decision-making, and patient education skills, Experience using electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems, Ability to work across multiple clinic locations within a defined region
What You'll Do.
patient-centered nursing care
Administer intravenous and injectable specialty medications
Conduct pre-treatment patient assessments
Initiate and manage peripheral IV access
Access central lines using sterile technique
and administer IV and injectable medications
Monitor patients during and post-infusion
Respond to adverse events per medical directives
Document all patient care activities accurately
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans
Maintain medication accountability
Participate in audits and quality initiatives
Uphold infection prevention
and quality standards
