Full Job Description
Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager for the Seattle, WA location to administer, design and engineer the company’s Citrix/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) farms to deliver applications to remote users at corporate sites, branch offices and outsourced locations. Responsibilities: • Meet with business teams to provide optional technology solutions for application delivery to remote users at corporate sites, branch offices, and outsourced locations. • Utilize entire suite of Citrix and Virtual products including Citrix Cloud (DaaS), ControlUP, LiquidWare, Citrix App Layering, Azure and VMWare ESX/VCenter. • Manage servers and desktops within a VMware ESX environment, including utilizing VMWare and Citrix software to manage thousands of virtual servers which support a user base of 65,000+ colleagues throughout the company. • Lead diverse team of industry experts supporting 65,000+ colleagues globally using Citrix products and tools. • Define and drive the strategic direction of the Citrix infrastructure and related virtualization technologies. • Align Citrix engineering initiatives with broader IT and business goals. • Promote team development by providing training opportunities and stretch assignments. • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. • Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations. • Drive automation and optimization of Citrix operations and infrastructure. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including networking, security, desktop support, and application teams. • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders. • Translate technical concepts into business value and impact. • Lead proof-of concept initiatives and pilot programs. • Hybrid Work Schedule.
