In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our on-premises infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of our IT systems. * Design and implement on-premises infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements * Manage and maintain server hardware, networking equipment, and storage systems * Implement and support virtualisation technologies to optimise resource utilisation * Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies * Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error * Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks * Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement appropriate solutions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices * Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems ## Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * 5-7 years of experience in managing on-premises infrastructure * Proven expertise in server hardware, networking equipment, and storage systems * Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware) * Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) * Solid understanding of network protocols and security principles * Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools * Familiarity with IT service management practices and frameworks * Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning * Strong analyti
