Infrastructure Data Center Operations Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Data Center Operations Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our data center operations. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, security, and efficiency of our data center infrastructure while managing teams, processes, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Operations Management: Direct day-to-day operations of the data center facility, including monitoring system performance, managing capacity, and ensuring 24/7 operational continuity Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise data center operations staff; foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Infrastructure Oversight: Manage and maintain critical infrastructure systems including power distribution, cooling systems, server hardware, networking equipment, and backup systems Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring systems; analyze metrics related to uptime, efficiency, energy consumption, and cost Compliance maintain safe working conditions and security protocols Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers; manage contracts, SLAs, and performance expectations Documentation capability to handle high-pressure situations Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Data Center Operations) preferred Desired Qualifications Experience with cloud infrastructure or hybrid environments
