Onsite at client site, May be required to work past regular work shift or various shifts as needed
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related technical field, 10 years or more of scheduling experience, 5 plus years of reporting (milestones, interdependencies, etc.) in direct support of an active construction program covering multiple projects and varying project delivery methods, Direct forensic scheduling experience to support claims analysis on large-scale, complex heavy civil, vertical and horizontal projects (projects of at least $200M value and 3-years or greater duration) particularly for assessment of delay claims and potential owner’s liabilities, Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Designuild
Nice to Have
Relevant Professional Licensure & Certifications, Prior experience in aviation and large transportation projects
What You'll Do.
Review project schedule submittals from Design and Contractor Teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements
Perform independent schedule analyses for the Owner
including preliminary
and as-built schedules
Evaluate four-week look-ahead schedules and monthly schedule updates for accuracy and completeness
Assess recovery schedules
and time extension requests in accordance with contract terms
Facilitate coordination and resolve interface issues across multiple concurrent projects
Ensure all submitted schedules comply with LAWA project coding and activity code structures
and apply relevant contract provisions to claims and schedule disputes
Conduct complex schedule analyses to identify project risks
and claims-related impacts
Assist with change orders
and dispute resolution efforts throughout the project lifecycle
Analyze contractor delay claims using forensic scheduling practices
and recovery assessments
and briefing materials that clearly communicate complex sequencing and forensic findings
Recommend delay mitigation strategies and alternative solutions to address schedule-related challenges
Develop KPIs and apply scheduling expertise on large-scale capital projects exceeding $500 million while supporting collaboration among all stakeholders
