What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5+ years’ experience providing direct project coordination support to Program or Project Managers pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects, B. S. in Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent equivalent experience with customer approval, Experience assessing the potential financial impact of projects to the company, Demonstrated ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions, Experience building solid business cases and project justifications
Nice to Have
CAPM, Agile or other Project Management certifications, training and/or demonstrated experience
What You'll Do.
direct coordination and support of projects and contracts in a functional area
maintain a general working knowledge of the systems
and protocols used in deploying system protection equipment for substation
and other electrical utility deployments
provide tracking and documentation of work standards
contractor personnel and communications
and the purposes and goals of the organization at the direction of the Program or Project Manager
submit completed and approved design request documentation to the appropriate work groups
track and support program and technical support operations involving multiple project/task orders and personnel at diverse locations
track planning and execution of all program and technical support activities
maintain management structure supporting documentation for technical support activities
facilitate site-walks and project meetings when the project manager cannot attend
track meeting minutes
arrange meeting schedules
and provide support for tracking risks
report and provide status regarding project support
and contracting and material procurement status
