What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience/degree, 5+ years experience in the data center industry, 3+ years experience with Hyperscale (>30MW) Data Centers, 15+ years of progressive experience in construction and commissioning project delivery, 10+ years of demonstrated functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements, Demonstrated ability to think ahead and plan over a 3 to 5 year time, Experience leading large markets or business sectors, Experience leading and developing teams, Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others
Nice to Have
PE, CCM, PMP, CFE, COA, LEED and/or Master’s Degree, Proficient in reading and understanding contract documents, plans and specifications
What You'll Do.
Develop annual budgets and strategic objectives
Lead business development teams
Collaborate with leaders of other business units
regions or functions in the identification and pursuit of new opportunities
Review and contribute to proposals
Develop a wide industry network of contacts
Select and develop senior leaders
Assign accountabilities
and establish priorities for senior leaders
Build and maintain desired corporate cultural outcomes
Perform annual and periodic review of assigned senior leaders
Monitor existing client relationships
Ensure engagement objectives and delivery of services are being met
Identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain relationships with large clients
Conduct regular outreach to large clients
Evaluate all contracts and backlog for risk exposure
Develop and execute mitigation strategy for risk exposure
Participate actively in industry and civic organizations
Serve as a subject matter expert
Nurture current client relationships and build new relationships
Contribute thought leadership internally and externally
Provide industry insight and guidance
Provide solutions for client's toughest challenges
Oversee project teams to ensure successful delivery
Oversee and advise on all aspects of client’s capital projects
Oversee one or more programs/projects
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
Work closely with Architects
and General Contractors (GC)
Assist in identification of risks in the construction/commissioning process
Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams
