What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or related field, or 4 additional years of qualifying experience in lieu of a degree, Minimum 15 years of construction management experience on municipal, transportation, port, waterfront, or public infrastructure projects, Minimum 1 year of experience supervising or inspecting engineering construction work, Demonstrated experience overseeing construction or modification of on-water or near-water shipping terminal facilities on at least one completed project, Proven experience delivering projects that include electrified infrastructure components and marine/waterfront construction activities within active port environments

Manage daily contract administration activities

Coordinate construction work within active marine terminals

Provide construction management oversight

Assist in dispute resolution efforts

Manage inspection staff

Perform technical review of construction plans

Monitor compliance with contract documents

Perform field inspections

Identify non-compliant work

Report critical project issues

Monitor construction equipment and workforce

Manage contractor payment processes

Maintain awareness of safety requirements

Ensure compliance with contract provisions

Incorporate field changes into record documents

Support port electrification initiatives

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work directly with terminal operators, contractors, utility providers, and stakeholders; Facilitate weekly project coordination meetings; Act as liaison to design teams; Communicate and coordinate effectively with contractors, clients, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and other stakeholders
