What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8 years of construction management experience on municipal and/or public infrastructure projects, 1 year supervising or inspecting engineering construction work, Demonstrated delivery of CM services on projects within Orange County, Proven experience managing municipal roadway/street improvement projects, Proven experience managing public vertical facilities
What You'll Do.
Manage daily construction administration activities
Serve as primary operational point of contact
Lead field oversight and inspection
Direct inspection staff
Perform field inspections and site walks
Coordinate construction activities with contractors
Monitor and enforce contractor compliance
Review construction plans and specifications
Escalate risk and disputes
Lead project coordination meetings
Monitor contractor staffing and equipment
Report concerns and recommend corrective actions
Assist with contractor payment review
Coordinate construction phasing and traffic control
Ensure field changes are documented
Communicate proactively with agency staff
Escalate critical issues to CM IV
Support multiple concurrent project assignments
