What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2+ years of IT experience, 2+ years of management/team lead experience, Technology background, Experience operating in large-scale data center, Background in telecom networks, Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically
Nice to Have
6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience, Experience with network hardware, Experience analyzing metrics to drive business improvements, Experience representing your team to senior management, Experience working with engineering and technical teams, Experience with Lean or Six Sigma, Experience with Microsoft Office products, Managing multiple complex calendars, Planning and organizing events, Coordinating domestic and international travel, Knowledge of infrastructure best practices, Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles, Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth
