Must Have
Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience, 3+ years of relevant work experience, Experience in embedded/off-board systems development/validation, Advanced automotive knowledge, Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, Ability to understand software/hardware requirements, Ability to plan testing strategy, Ability to execute test cases, Ability to report clear error descriptions, Experience updating ECUs, Experience with vehicle diagnostics, Structured and organized approach, Ability to remove and replace infotainment head unit, Valid Driver's License
Nice to Have
R&D engineering experience, Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, Knowledge of agile and waterfall methods

The US Vehicle Integration team at Mercedes-Benz is pivotal in establishing the brand's technological leadership in the US luxury market. The team works collaboratively to drive innovation by translating US customer feedback into impactful propositions, focusing on software-defined vehicles and thorough testing across various domains, including infotainment, connected car, E/E systems, and BEV/HEV charging technologies. Together with supporting Mercedes-Benz North America vehicle workshops and operations, their efforts ensure a seamless customer experience that uphold Mercedes-Benz's high standards. As an Infotainment Validation Engineer, you will support vehicle software/hardware updates, commissioning, and test setup, and perform testing and validation across infotainment functions for the North American market. You will ensure test environments are updated on time and aligned to required release configurations, while following ISO 9001 processes and documentation requirements. Your work includes system-level testing of the feature rollout plan from an end-customer perspective, including defining test scope, executing test cases, and developing an exploratory testing strategy. Testing will be performed in prototype vehicles and in the test lab using bench setups, with a focus on Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.
