Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance is required with adjudication within the last 5 years or designated CE and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses., Work is performed on a 12-hour shift, scheduled on a rotational basis among communications support team members including nights, weekends and holidays in support of 24/7/365 operations., You will work seven (7) 12-hour shifts over a two-week period., Typically, there are 3 shifts in one week and 4 shifts in the next week, the shift schedule is created a30-60 days in advance., Position requires travel or response to alternate locations in support of evolving customer requirements or surge demand., Travel as needed (5%)., carry up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods of time at a computer workstation, work under desks and raised floor, climb ladders to repair/replace devices, organize the cable management.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance is required with adjudication within the last 5 years or designated CE and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses., Three to Five (3-5) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience., Experience setting up and troubleshooting circuits and equipment., Experience making, running, testing cables, performing loopbacks, installing equipment., Experience using VTC equipment., CompTIA IT Security+ Certification must be obtained within 6 months
Nice to Have
Four (4) years of college in a related technical discipline plus Ten (10) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience., Experience as a Network and /or Systems Administrator, Experience at an IT Help Desk / Customer Service Center, Operational work experience in a military communications career field, Understanding of the mid-range computer hardware, software features, Training experience - someone we can trust to be able to adequately explain the setup and troubleshooting processes of our equipment.

Amentum is currently seeking an **Information Systems Watch Technician** to join our dynamic team in the Arlington, VA area. In this position you’ll be a part of a team that maintains and supports our customer’s facility by ensuring that the telecommunications systems are fully functional and available for the senior leader’s decision support teams. This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years or designated CE and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses. **Work Schedule:** Work is performed on a 12-hour shift, scheduled on a rotational basis among communications support team members including nights, weekends and holidays in support of 24/7/365 operations.
