What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Other certifications meeting DoD Instruction 8570. 1 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III proficiency, 7+ years’ experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) at a cleared facility, 9+ years of total work experience in a computer science or cybersecurity-related field
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or an IT-related discipline, Experience managing small teams or serving in a lead technical capacity
What You'll Do.
Serve as the primary Task Lead
providing oversight and direction for security-related project deliverables
Act as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for assigned systems
ensuring full compliance with federal security policies
Provide surge support by filling in as an ISSO for additional systems as mission requirements dictate
Lead the coordination of security assessments and authorization activities
Advise stakeholders on system security requirements and risk mitigation strategies
Ensure all system documentation remains accurate and compliant with government standards
