What They're Looking For.
Must Have
bachelor's or master's degree in IT, business administration, or a related field, 8 years of work experience in information security, Broad knowledge of information security, including ISO 27001/2, NIST CSF, and CIS-benchmarks, Familiarity with NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Experience with methodologies such as Agile and ITIL processes, Experience in a project-based environment with multiple IT disciplines, Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written, Proactive attitude: someone who takes initiative, shows ownership, and does not wait for instructions to make an impact
Nice to Have
Relevant certifications, such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or CISA
What You'll Do.
Function as a tactical and strategic point of contact for information security within projects and operational processes.
Collaborate closely with Risk to integrate security requirements into solutions
in line with the Lely information security policy.
Manage and assess security exceptions and risk thresholds in collaboration with Risk.
Escalate high-risk exceptions to Risk and the Executive Board (EB) via the exception process.
Prepare structured quarterly reports for business owners
and the Executive Board
providing insight into the security status of applications and services.
Monitor activities for competence centers and supply chain partners.
Provide advice on procurement processes from an information security perspective.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure broad acceptance of Security Baselines.
Support decision-making by presenting trends and structural information security risks to the Executive Board.
Ensure that compliance with the information security policy is transparent and clearly communicated.
Prevent security incidents and fulfill an important advisory and supervisory role in managing information security risks that can impact Lely’s cyber compliance and cyber resilience.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Integrate information security within different teams of Lely (such as IT Shared Services, Sales, Support & Services, and Product Development).; Collaborate closely with Risk to integrate security requirements into solutions.; Manage and assess security exceptions and risk thresholds in collaboration with Risk.; Escalate high-risk exceptions to Risk and the Executive Board (EB).; Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure broad acceptance of Security Baselines.; Work closely with SOC analysts, awareness specialists, and vulnerability management specialists within the Lely Cyber Security Center.
Communication Scope

Lely Center Zevenbergen is de expert op het gebied van robotica oplossingen in de melkveehouderij voor West-Nederland en biedt support aan 600 melkveehouderijen in West-Brabant, Zeeland, Zuid-Holland, Noord-Holland en Texel van A tot Z bij het automatiseren van de boerderij. De boer moet altijd op ons kunnen vertrouwen! En misschien kan jij daar wel een cruciale rol in spelen. Als Information Security Officer (ISO) vorm je de strategische schakel tussen de bedrijfsambities van Lely en de praktische implementatie van security controls. Je vertaalt risicogedreven inzichten naar toepasbaar beleid en zorgt ervoor dat information security wordt geïntegreerd binnen verschillende teams van Lely (zoals IT Shared Services, Sales, Support & Services en Product Development). Dit omvat zowel intern ontwikkelde applicaties als de veilige ondersteuning van melkveehouders. Je begeleidt de ontwikkeling, implementatie en het onderhoud van de Lely Information Security Policy en de Security Baselines en zorgt dat deze in lijn zijn met kaders zoals ISO 27001/2, NIST CSF en CIS-benchmarks.
