## Description From humble roots in 1990, Magical Beginnings has always had a vision to provide a nurturing, constructive and education-first environment for young children. Today, the Magical Beginnings’ schools are an award-winning collection of Early Childhood Education Centers serving communities and families in Massachusetts. We are hiring a Classroom Teacher in our Infant wing. This nurturing role focuses on the needs and development of infants from six weeks to fifteen months of age. This role requires a creative, positive, and compassionate team player who is focused on providing top-notch child care and collaborating with likeminded teachers. ## You'll thrive in this role if you have EEC Infant/Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required) Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting A nurturing demeanor and a love for infants and their development ## Some requirements of the role include Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset ## As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for Collaborating with your co-teacher to equally prepare curriculum, lesson plans, materials, and monthly newsletters. Keeping parents informed by posting parent information on the Class Dojo app and classroom boards. Providing a safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean, and appealing classrooms. Encouraging children’s participation by providing age-appropriate interactive activities. Maintaining cleanliness of the classroom: routine opening/closing of the classroom (including, but not limited to wiping down the toys, cleaning tables, vacuuming the room, sanitizing the room (after all children have left), bathrooms, emptying trash, and overall preparatio
