Must Have
Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair, Must have and maintain a good driving record, Must be willing to work off the ground, Can work varied overtime, Be available for "on call", Able to travel and work out of town, Able to frequently lift to 25 lbs, Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis, Able to lift to 75 lbs, Able to lift 100 lbs on a rare basis, Frequent climbing, Frequent balancing, Frequent stooping/crouching, Frequent overhead reaching, Occasional pushing, Occasional pulling, Occasional kneeling, Occasional crawling
Nice to Have
Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred, Equivalent vocational/technical training and experience, Some electronic experience, Prior experience with cranes is a benefit
What You'll Do.
Conduct inspections on electric overhead traveling cranes
Conduct maintenance on electric overhead traveling cranes
Conduct repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes
Conduct inspections on hoists
Conduct maintenance on hoists
Conduct repairs on hoists
Provide on-call service
Provide after-hours support
Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site
Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site
Troubleshoot structural issues on-site
Troubleshoot electronic issues on-site
Perform post-repair audits
Recommend corrective actions
Notify customers of safety issues
Consult with customers on repair issues
Consult with customers on safety issues
Offer recommendations for material handling improvement
Produce electronic documentation
Obtain customer signatures
Stay updated on industry codes
Stay updated on regulations
Complete service reports
Complete other required documents
Communicate with Field Operations Manager
Communicate with Service Coordinator
Maintain company-issued equipment
Report deficiencies to supervisor
Follow established safety rules
Follow established safety procedures
Follow customer guidelines
Participate in monthly safety meetings
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
