Extensive travel throughout the southeast, Occasional travel to Pacific Northwest, Occasional travel to Maine, Travel for up to two weeks at a time, 100% travel, Work off the ground, Varied overtime, Work out of town, Frequent climbing, Frequent balancing, Frequent stooping/crouching, Frequent overhead reaching, Occasional pushing, Occasional pulling, Occasional kneeling, Occasional crawling, Inside 90% of the time, Outside 10% of the time, Frequent exposure to heat, Frequent exposure to cold, Frequent exposure to noise, Frequent exposure to heights

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum two (2) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair, Prior experience with cranes required, High School Diploma required, Must have and maintain a good driving record, Must be willing to work off the ground, Able to travel and work out of town, Able to frequently lift to 25 lbs, Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis, Able to lift to 75 lbs, Able to lift 100 lbs on a rare basis, Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching, Occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling, Frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise and heights, Safety sensitive position

Nice to Have

Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred, Equivalent vocational/technical training and experience preferred

What You'll Do.

Conduct detailed inspection on portal cranes and hoists

Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site

Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site

Troubleshoot structural issues on-site

Manage travel to meet inspection schedule

Report findings of inspection to customers

Consult with customers on repair and safety issues

Offer recommendations for improvement

Recommend corrective actions

Document safety notifications to customers

Produce electronic documentation of inspections

Complete service reports

Complete other required documents

Stay updated on industry codes and regulations

Maintain company-issued equipment

Maintain company-issued vehicles

Maintain company-issued assets

Report deficiencies to supervisor

Follow established safety rules

Follow established safety procedures

Follow customer guidelines

Perform other responsibilities as assigned
