****Job Description:**** An opportunity for an **Industrial System Engineer** has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the **ME - Transversal Team** , a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering organization at the Airbus Getafe Plant. Our vision is clear: _" to secure the industrial system today and to create the sustainable industrial solution of the future."_ The Getafe Plant is a center of excellence specializing in the structural assembly and equipping of Horizontal Tail Planes (HTPs) for the A320, A330, and A350 families, as well as the S19 section for the A350, utilizing advanced automated and robotic methods and dry carbon fiber manufacturing. In this role, your core mission will be to predict and improve our Industrial Performance by developing Lean Industrial System Designs, optimizing flows, and building advanced simulation models to translate conceptual ideas into highly competitive, real-world shopfloor scenarios. **RESPONSIBILITIES** The main tasks of the jobholder will be: * **Lead and conduct** Industrial System Design and Modelling projects from initial concept to deployment, optimizing flows and ensuring the best industrial footprint for plant activities. * **Develop and manage** Industrial Line Flow Simulations and Digital Twins using advanced 3D software (e.g., 3DExperience) to anticipate, replicate, and optimize assembly line behavior. * **Analyze and optimize** the industrial performance of current and future manufacturing lines through time-value calculations, standard line balancing, and Value Stream Analysis deployment. * **Drive** the Machine Connectivity strategy at the plant level, collaborating closely with Maintenance, Operations, and central teams to define strategies, secure budgets, and improve machine availability. * **Support and deploy** Data Analytics projects and innovation technologies, managing data to enable predictive decision-making, pattern detection, and early breakdown warnin
