****Job Description:**** **As an Industrial Robotics and Perception Engineer, you will be supporting Top Company objectives by advancing the automation and robotic capabilities of our plants and stations. You will play a critical role in supporting the industrial system ramp-up for existing programs and developing a robust, technology driven foundation for next gen Aircrafts.** **The profile involves working within the Industrial Automation and Robotics team to design and deploy high-performance robotic systems. Your expertise will bridge the gap between conceptual architecture and shop-floor execution that ensure our automated industrial systems are resilient, precise, and highly optimized.** **The individual gets the opportunity to work on the entire spectrum of programs, from the existing Airbus aircraft fleet to future high-rate production systems.** ### **Required Skills and Experience** **Perception and AI :** * **Knowledge on Computer vision, Conventional image processing techniques, feature extraction, Deep learning model training, explainability etc** * **Develop perception algorithms that leverage sensor data (LIDAR, cameras, etc.) for object detection,3D/6D pose estimation, Action Recognition, Localization, and mapping in industrial environments.** * **Develop/Integrate Libraries to gather data from the 1D/2D/3D sensors.** * **Transformers, Foundation Models, VLA Models for Robotics.** * **Point Cloud Processing (with PCL - Point Cloud Library):** * **Filtering: Voxel grid down sampling, statistical outlier removal.** * **Segmentation: RANSAC for fitting planes and other shapes.** * **Registration: Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm for aligning point clouds.** * **Clustering: Grouping points to find distinct objects.** * **Point cloud registration.
