What They're Looking For.
Must Have
University degree in Engineer in electronic product engineering or a related field, Min. 5 years proven experience in Production / manufacturing engineering management, Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to Have
electronics, sensor, or radar manufacturing processes is an advantage, Experience in automotive field, leadership skills, ability to coordinate and drive functionally industrial teams across production sites, Good interpersonal and communication skills, Diplomatic & persuasive, Good presentation, planning & prioritizing skills, Willingness for traveling
What You'll Do.
Develop and deploy best practices and Group standards across production sites in different geographies
Manage the industrial footprint of his perimeter (adaptation to market
Define the program allocation to plants
Optimize the industrial investments of his perimeter (Cost
compliance with standards)
challenging all industrial IARs
Responsible for the make or buy decision with the support of Purchasing
Accountable for the TRS of his perimeter
Lead the industrial network of his perimeter (industrialization
production and logistics)
Animate the Expertise Centres of its perimeter
Coordinate the interfaces between its perimeter and the other Expertise Centres
Contribute to the PDT for identification of new process needs
Responsible for all the industrial aspects of the MTP for its perimeter: from data collection till consistency & full adherence to PG strategy
Functionally responsible for P2 project Industrial Team Members
Validate industrialization projects (with the help of experts)
Participate to the P2 PVC & PMC
Define the process standards for its perimeter and ensure their deployment
Promote lean investment approach through Lean Process Design ensure that the equipment acquisition flows are respected
Define the rules for equipment and tools standardization within its perimeter and considers the differences between HCC and LCC
Contribute with Purchasing and Experts to the selection of equipments and tools suppliers
Responsible for the KPI (TRP
Safety) within the Product Group
Challenge the sites regarding the methodologies to apply to reach these targets and improve: ERIM
Ensure that sites’ budget are consistent
in terms or KPIs’ targets
but also staffing (Production
Methods…) and consistent with the Group Industrial
Promote and ensure prompt and efficient Valeo Factory Of the Near Future Tools
Contribute to the development and update of Group standards
by leading or participating to workshops
Manage the capacity of its perimeter
for instance with the use of the Critical Capacity Tool
Ensure safety & ergonomics aspects are taken into account in equipment design
