**_Job Family_ :** Data Science Consulting ** _Travel Required_ :** Up to 25% **_Clearance Required_ :** Active Secret ** _What You Will Do_ :** Guidehouse is seeking an Industrial Engineering Consultant who will support the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions, recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and an implementation plan to close process gaps for various manufacturing processes. You will work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes at the value stream level, process constraints and strategies to mitigate, and optimization technologies for addressing those constraints, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. **_What You Will Need_ :** * An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance * Bachelor’s degree * ONE (1) year+ experience related to Industrial Engineering or general engineering discipline ** _What Would Be Nice To Have_ :** * Experience with value stream mapping of manufacturing processes * Strong communication, and interpersonal skills * Experience with analysis of current and future state of industrial manufacturing processes * Knowledge of discrete event simulation and supporting software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.) **_What We Offer_ :** Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
