What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or a production environment, Exposure to working in a team environment, Exposure or application of Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles, Exposure or application of Project Management skills
What You'll Do.
Analyze performance to daily schedules or orders
Learn and improve production processes
Reduce or eliminate safety and ergonomic issues
Utilize root cause and trend analysis to drive improvements to quality defects
Reduce non-value added work to improve cost and flow
Build disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis
Mitigate impacts to downstream work statement and major milestones
Apply industrial engineering concepts
approaches and techniques to product
process and services to meet program requirements
Support the development of plant and equipment layouts
accident prevention measures
sequencing of operations and work flows
Participate in the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations
Assist with designing
and optimizing the production system by integrating design
Conduct basic work flow design and analysis
Develop simple models
databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders
and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance
for large scale systems integration and asset utilization
Support implementation plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods
Document product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices
Support the preparation of operations plans

budgeting and forecasts
capacity and constraint analysis and production change
to ensure technical goals and objectives are met
Support execution planning by using project management
planning and scheduling and shop load practices
