What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or a production environment, Exposure to working in a team environment, Exposure or application of Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles, Exposure or application of Project Management skills
What You'll Do.
Supporting a production team or organization directly integrated with the Boeing Production System
Analyzing performance to daily schedules or orders
Learning and improving production processes
Reducing or eliminating safety and ergonomic issues
Utilizing root cause and trend analysis to drive improvements to quality defects
Reducing non-value added work to improve cost and flow
Building disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis
Mitigating impacts to downstream work statements and major milestones
Applying industrial engineering concepts
approaches and techniques to product
process and services to meet program requirements
Supporting the development of plant and equipment layouts
accident prevention measures
sequencing of operations and work flows
Participating in the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations
Assisting with designing
and optimizing the production system by integrating design
Conducting basic work flow design and analysis
Developing simple models
databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders
and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance
for large scale systems integration and asset utilization
Supporting implementation plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods
Documenting product assembly instructions and standardizing assembly practices
Supporting the preparation of operations plans
includes work statement analysis
budgeting and forecasts
capacity and constraint analysis and production change
to ensure technical goals and objectives are met
Supporting execution planning by using project management
planning and scheduling and shop load practices
supply chain logistics
performance visibility and recovery planning support
Following compliance requirements with established industry safety

Partner with cross functional teams from production operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management; Collaborating with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations; Working with an experienced team member with oversight and training; Working with leaders for consultation on data analysis and metrics
