Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, Minimum 5 years related experience, Experience in a manufacturing environment, leading continuous improvement efforts and lean methods and tools, Highly hands-on with a mechanical aptitude, Problem solving and analyses, Mechanical skills required to perform equipment maintenance and fabrication, Ability to understand production processes, Ability to understand and lead the implementation of low-level automation/robotics options, Ability to follow all the quality standards and guidelines strictly, Multi-tasking skills are required to manage multiple projects and various project activities, Ability to identify cost reductions and provide ROI justifications for change/acquisition of equipment, Thinks conceptually and intuitively, linking problems and symptoms to identify underlying issues and root causes, Makes sound decisions in a timely and confident manner, A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, take initiative, work independently of day-to-day supervision, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Nice to Have
Maintenance/Mechanical experience – in a manufacturing environment a plus, Knowledge of industrial engineering concepts such as work cell layout and material flow analysis a plus, project and program management preferred

developing detailed manufacturing process documentation and product flow diagrams
conducting root cause analysis to ensure sustainable problem resolution
evaluating current practices to implement enhancements that uphold quality and maximize efficiency
and test innovative solutions for manufacturing processes based on analysis and organizational objectives
Identify design improvements based on activity assess footprint capacity within facilities and identify/develop plans to better utilize the space
Identify equipment improvements based on activity assess throughput capacity and identify/develop plans remove bottlenecks and breakdowns
Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes
Empower employees and optimize existing activities based on standards and best practices
Study and analyze current processes
determine their effectiveness
and recommend strategies for improvement and timelines for implementation
Conduct time study analysis to establish production standards for departments
Advocate for continuous improvement by promoting a teamwork atmosphere and a community of process improvement practice
Research and introduce equipment/other technologies
Additional responsibilities assigned as necessary
