GROPYUS is using scalable construction and manufacturing solutions to tap into a future market, boost Europe's strength in innovation, while also playing a substantial role in improving sustainability. About the role As an Industrial Engineer for our concept team in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, you will take on a key role in the planning of our production system and the expansion of our factory (in Germany) for the automated production of building modules In an interdisciplinary environment (simultaneous engineering approach), you will be responsible for creating production concepts. You will work closely with our product developers (building system experts, wall and ceiling elements), machine designers and a team for digital transformation (control systems, Industry 4.0). Your area of responsibility includes production process planning from a performance perspective, as well as the description of production solutions through to implementation in digital process scattering. Value stream thinking and the documentation of manufacturing processes are important aspects of this: Planning of synchronized flow production incl. material flow considerations according to production line balancing standards Logical process descriptions of production solutions that also take information flows into account Transfer of product design drafts (wall/ceiling elements) into corresponding manufacturing processes Material and production flow analyses, value stream design according to lean manufacturing principles Production process planning, cycle time considerations and optimizations Factory/production flow simulat
