Must Have
Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field, 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment, Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. § 120. 15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice to Have
3 or more years proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), 3 or more years of experience working in a team environment, 3 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles, 3 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership, 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements, Experience in Project Management, Proficient in structured problem solving
What You'll Do.
Support Composite Manufacturing
Utilize data and analytics to make recommendations on how to support and improve manufacturing and quality processes
Focus on production stability
Implement lean methodologies
Assess and perform to rate readiness requirements
Improve quality through structured root cause analysis reviews
Engage with all manufacturing
and production-supporting organizations
Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments
Apply industrial engineering concepts
approaches and techniques to product
process and services to meet program requirements
Maintain and develop plant and equipment layouts
accident prevention measures
sequencing of operations and work flows
Support the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations
and optimize the production system by integrating design
Complete work flow design and analysis
Develop moderately complex models
databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders
and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance
for large scale systems integration and asset utilization
Provide product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices
Prepare operations plans
includes work statement analysis
budgeting and forecasts
capacity and constraint analysis and production change
to ensure technical goals and objectives are met
Support execution planning by using project management
planning and scheduling and shop load practices
supply chain logistics
performance visibility and recovery planning support of moderate complexity
Reconcile compliance with established industry safety
design standards and ergonomic guidelines
