Our Brampton plant is located in the greater Toronto area, about 40 minutes from downtown. It’s an exciting time at this facility as we are growing and investing in new equipment and new technology. The future is bright at Brampton! The Industrial Electrician will maintain all electrical equipment in the facility, including the plant machinery, structures, and component parts on which work is being performed. The Industrial Electrician will: * Analyze and interpret one lines, wiring diagrams, sketches and diagrams to select a logistical approach to troubleshooting, tracing, and testing circuits * Repair and install electrical or electronic equipment and component parts * Modify, maintain and install PLC programs * Perform electrical isolation of equipment for safety of self and others, while minimizing interference to operations * Advise operators, mechanics and other electrical maintenance personnel of standard operating procedures and requirements for electrical equipment and controls The Industrial Electrician should have: * Strong knowledge of electrical principles and wiring specification codes * Strong working knowledge of PLCs, electronic drive systems, power distribution equipment, phase motors
