What You'll Do.
Own Class A surface development
Collaborate with Design Engineers
Ensure surfaced geometry is DFM-compliant
Maintain surface models
Incorporate feedback from sample reviews
Support 2D cosmetic drawing callouts
Define cosmetic finish specifications
Document cosmetic finish specifications
Develop CMF documentation
Manage CMF documentation
Source finish options
Evaluate finish options
Maintain cosmetic appearance standards
Support first article cosmetic inspection
Evaluate cosmetic samples
Communicate acceptability
Support design reviews
Prepare visual references
Prepare annotated models
Prepare finish sample boards
Assist in evaluating materials
Assist in selecting materials
Assist in evaluating finishes
Assist in selecting finishes
Contribute to maintaining product language
