Must Have
Must be eligible for employment within the United States, Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines, Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening, Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate, Must have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard card, Must have a high school degree or equivalent, Must have a current CPR & First Aid certification or be eligible to qualify for a certification, Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies, Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds, Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions, Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, Ability to work independently and as a team member, Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Nice to Have
Military background is strongly preferred, Security or law enforcement related experience preferred, Report writing experience preferred
What You'll Do.

Respond promptly and safely to emergencies
contact first responders as needed
and taking initial action to control & secure a scene
Proactively investigate and report accidents
or other suspicious activity
Verify identification of employees
or guests and control access using badges or other credentials
Document security events
and routine activity in detailed Daily Activity Reports or Incident Reports
Perform light front desk duties to include: greeting visitors
and creating a positive first impression
Assist employees and provide a professional
welcoming environment for visitors and clients
Build rapport with and foster a collaborative environment with workplace & facilities teams
Proactively de-escalate situations and address concerns with courtesy and professionalism
Work independently and adapt to varying work paces while remaining focused and energetic
