Nice to Have
Preferred 5 Years’ experience in Logistics/Warehouse role, Preferred warehouse supervisory experience, Diploma or Degree in Logistics and or Operations preferred, Knowledge of systems would be considered an asset. (SWMS, ADP, Synetellic, CANVAS, Intelex, labour standard system)

Supervise put away and replenishment process
Assist Warehouse Manager with budget
Ensure Food safety guidelines are followed
Develop and implement cost reduction plans
Accountable for accuracy of timecards

**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Role:** This role is primarily responsible for efficiently managing all activities on the day shift including receiving, put-a-ways and replenishment and ensuring that the warehouse is set up for the selection function on the night shift. **Role Responsibilities:** • Assist internal and external customers with expediting orders (Customer pick up/Same day service)• Develop standards and working relationships with outside contractors (e.g. Lumping) • Support warehouse team members with technology systems (Motorola RF scanners, Zebra printers,tablets and CANVAS) • Management of engineered labour standards • Training on Material Handling for associates • Complete daily warehouse inspections (coach cards, observations and facility audits) • Daily communication with Merchandizing team to identify any logistic issues or delays from the vendor or inbound carrier • Prepare work schedules including vacations schedules • Analyze and work with team members on incentive program results and opportunities • Monitor and improve overall productivity • Monitor problems/inefficiencies with receiving operations, generate ideas and solutions • Coordinate receiving, put away, replenishment, assembly of products in a timely manner • Generate/analyze productivity reports • Manage/Identify barriers that cause indirect time • Record indirect (work delays) in SWMS (warehouse management system) • Monitor inbound loads and coordinate carrier placement to docks to reduce travel time and increaseproductivity • Ensure product accuracy and integrity in conjunction with inventory control • Interface with Merchandising department to resolve receiving problems and or buying patterns • Supervise put away and replenishment process • Assist Warehouse Manager in preparation of annual warehouse budget and monitor budget on a weekly basis • Ensure Food safety guidelines are followed and adhered to • Develop and implement cost reduction action plans • If applicable, understand and inter
