Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline, 5–7 years of project management experience, at least 3 years leading complex software delivery projects, knowledge of project delivery practices, including planning, estimation, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, change control, and executive-ready reporting, Proven ability to lead cross-functional work, coordinate business and technical stakeholders, and translate business needs into practical delivery plans

Nice to Have

PMP designation, Agile certification or experience delivering in Agile or hybrid environments

Full Job Description

**Location:** Calgary, Edmonton or Red Deer, Alberta **Employment Type:** Full Time - Permanent **Salary Range:** SP3, Level 5, $98,090 - $115,400. The final compensation for this position will be determined based on individual factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. **IMT Project Manager - Hybrid** **The Opportunity­­** As an IMT Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives that support the organization’s priorities and Project Management Office (PMO) services within the Information Management & Technology (IMT) branch at the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER). You will work closely with business and technical teams to define outcomes, build practical delivery plans, manage risks and dependencies, and keep projects moving through the right governance and decision points. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex work, partnering across teams, and delivering meaningful technology improvements in a collaborative hybrid environment.
