What You'll Do.
Prepare and process import documentation
Ensure documents are accurate and comply with regulations
Verify import shipments comply with regulations
Stay informed about changes in import regulations
Update procedures accordingly
Collaborate with leads and other agents for clearance
Prepare and execute documents for U. S. Customs
Obtain proper release and duty payment
Address and resolve issues related to delays
Address and resolve issues related to missing documentation
Address and resolve issues related to compliance problems
Escalate complex issues to senior team members
Escalate complex issues to management
Ensure billing is accurate and timely
Enter and update information in import management systems
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in systems
Perform other duties as assigned
Receive guidance for overall objectives
Work with operations within company and department policies
Use independent judgment to achieve assigned objectives
