Experience preferably in medical device industry, Demonstrated experience in export process under Free Zone regulations, Experience in GMP, ISO, and FDA controlled environments
What You'll Do.
Manage all coming shipments to Abbott-Costa Rica facility
Manage all shipments leaving from Abbott-Costa Rica facility
Provide needed information for shipping arrangements
Ensure compliance with local Free Zone regulations
Maintain and update negotiated international freight rates
Provide accurate shipping cost and service options
Prepare and manage all export documentation
Ensure full compliance with Costa Rica Free Zone
Liaise with customs agents and government authorities
Provide accurate product classifications
Ensure timely customs clearance
Track in-transit shipments end-to-end
Coordinate local transportation between Free Zone locations
Maintain export records for audits
Support Finance with asset-related information
Ensure proper documentation for internal and external stakeholders

As the **Import & Export Specialist I**, you will manage all coming shipments to Abbott-Costa Rica facility. Manage all shipments leaving from Abbott-Costa Rica facility this goes from providing all needed information in order to make the proper shipping arrangements from shipping dock until the shipment is delivered at consignee’s receiving dock in compliance with local Free Zone regulations. **What You’ll Do** **International Shipping & Rate Management** * Maintain and update negotiated international freight rates, providing accurate shipping cost and service options to support decision-making. **Export Documentation & Compliance** * Prepare and manage all export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates, customs declarations, AWB/BOL) ensuring full compliance with Cos
