Full Job Description
Molecule Software | Poland (Office) Molecule is a modern ETRM platform built for energy trading companies across power, natural gas, renewables, and financial commodities. We're looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our Poland-based technical team and take ownership of the build work at the core of every client implementation. THE ROLE Working from requirements and solution plans produced by Implementation BAs and Solution Architects, you'll configure Molecule environments, load and validate data, and execute the testing that takes a client from signed design to live system. You'll also carry support responsibilities for live clients, investigating and resolving technical issues across configuration, data, and platform behaviour. This is a back-office, internally-facing role — you'll work closely with BAs, Solution Architects, and the Technical Team Manager in a structured, documentation-driven delivery environment. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON • Configuring Molecule across complex instrument types: power (OTC, PPAs, GoOs, exchange-traded), natural gas (physical and financial), financial instruments (FTRs, RECs, RGGIs, options, swaps), and structured contracts with tiered or ratcheted pricing • Loading and validating reference data, historical trades, market pricing, and settlement data • Executing reconciliations and unit testing before UAT; supporting BAs through client review • Investigating and resolving support tickets covering configuration errors, data issues, valuation discrepancies, and settlement anomalies • BigBang data migration and validation WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Background in energy, commodities, or financial services — a working understanding of physical and financial trading, trade lifecycles, and post-trade processes is required • Hands-on experience with an ETRM or CTRM platform is essential • Strong SQL: querying, validating, and transforming trade, position, market data, and reference data • Familiarity with energy market concepts: forward cu
