What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Basic understanding of the entire CRIMS offering, Basic proficiency in Investment Solutions or Technology, Experience supporting or implementing investment management solutions within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager or wealth management firm, Experience with order management and compliance solutions, Basic knowledge of fixed income or equity financial instruments, Basic understanding of investment management or wealth management work flows, Basic command of SQL, Understanding of relational databases, Basic consulting skills, Ability to build effective working relationships, Demonstrate situational awareness, Clearly communicate with internal and external decision-makers, 2-3+ years experience
Nice to Have
Basic understanding of derivatives and FX instruments, Familiarity with FIX or similar protocols, Familiarity with Crystal Reports or similar reporting packages, An advanced degree or industry certification such as the CFA
What You'll Do.
Serve as subject-matter expert within CRIMS implementation and upgrade projects
Analyze and evaluate requirements
Provide product expertise and guidance
Ensure the solution meets the clients business needs
Prepare clients to assume ownership and operate the solution after go-live
Educate clients on the functionality provided by CRIMS
Advise on best practices regarding the implementation and operation of Charles River solutions and services
Monitor and evaluate client requirements to identify potential enhancements
Document and communicate product improvements
Contribute to software quality by clearly communicating defects
Support the defect resolution process
Identify errors and mistakes in documentation and suggest corrections and improvements

**This role can be based out of our offices in: Burlington / Boston MA, Stamford CT, Clifton and Princeton NJ, Berwyn PA, Irvine and Sacramento CA, and Toronto Canada.** **What we are looking for** Consultants serve as subject-matter experts in the implementation and upgrade of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). Their contributions include defining client requirements, configuring and tuning the solution to the clients business and technical needs, training clients, testing workflows and resolving issues before taking the client live. Consultants are expected to demonstrate basic understanding of the entire CRIMS offering and as well as basic proficiency in Investment Solutions or Technology. **Why this job is important to us** The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created the first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.
