What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 + years of experience as a Business Analyst or in an implementation, preferably within the financial services or retirement industry., Requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews, Writing detailed technical and business documentation, Strong analytical skills with the ability to decompose complex problems, Working knowledge of Chorus and Retirement Services platforms, Hands-on experience supporting or participating in project implementations, Solid understanding of basic technical concepts (e. g. , data flows, system integrations), without requiring deep technical specialization, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Prior experience at SS &C, DST, BFDS, or a related organization (strongly preferred for lead-level roles), Exposure to Agile methodologies (helpful but not required), Experience working in financial services, retirement, or recordkeeping environments
What You'll Do.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather
and document business and system requirements
Author and maintain high-quality project documentation
including: Business and functional requirements documents
Implementation and configuration documentation
Process flows and data mappings
Translate complex business needs into clear
actionable requirements with an understanding of underlying technical concepts
Support implementation activities across the project lifecycle
ensuring alignment between client needs and delivered solutions
Act as a subject-matter resource during implementations
particularly within Chorus and Retirement Services
and propose practical
well-documented solutions
Participate in project and implementation meetings to clarify requirements and support issue resolution
Collaborate effectively with project managers
and other technical resources without serving as a primary PM or technical engineer
