Active City Year Staff members must login to Workday to apply internally. ### ### **Position Overview** The Impact Manager will work with the Impact Team to lead and develop a team of AmeriCorps members (ACMs) as idealistic, emerging leaders and practitioners focused on strengthening schools and supporting students to improve performance. On a daily basis, the Impact Manager will lead, coach, and develop AmeriCorps members while building strong school partnerships, monitoring student impact data, and ensuring high-quality implementation of City Year’s Whole School Whole Child model to support student success every day. The Impact Manager will report to the Managing Director of Impact (MDI) and will manage two (2) teams of AmeriCorps members of approximately 15-20 people. The Impact Manager will work primarily from school sites in our partner districts either in East Palo Alto or East San José. There will also be occasions in which the Impact Manager will work from our office in Sunnyvale. **Job Description** **Minimum Qualifications** * 1–2 years of experience managing young adults, leading programming, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to coach and hold individuals accountable to goals and expectations * Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and data-informed decision-making skills with a commitment to educational equity and leadership development * Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to fulfill travel expectations associated with the role * Authorized documentation to work in the United States of America * Criminal background history clearance to work with school-age children, depending on the position **Responsibilities** The Impact Manager wil
