Nice to Have
Working knowledge and expertise in MS Word and MS Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet application), Experience in computerized materiel management systems, Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail), Experience with imaging, patient care, and filming equipment, Experience with Power injectors and storage devices, Experience with Teleradiology system/PACS System
What You'll Do.
Answer and place requests/problems
Relate to patients pleasantly and professionally
Assess/Screen patients for risk factors
Prepare patient for procedures
Remove patient from exam room
Follow departmental protocol for procedures
Obtain and document patient history
Ensure proper patient identification
Distribute radiology film requests
Review radiology orders for errors
Demonstrate proficiency in Athena Practice Management System
Know location of emergency equipment
Adhere to infection control standards
Plan delivery of care
Verify exams in PACS system
Print and copy studies from PACS
Call facilities for prior studies
Report unusual circumstances to Chief Tech
Exercise proper precautions for safety
Correct and do orders
Cancel and reschedule patient appointments
Position patients for MRI exams
Schedule patient and complete screening forms
Select and prepare proper equipment
Replenish and change supplies
Maintain consistent productivity
