Position Summary: As a member of the production team, the primary responsibility of this function is to coordinate and perform activities necessary to ensure quality and efficient make-ready, run and clean-up of imaging equipment. In addition to working in a team environment with little supervision, the technical assistant must cooperate and work with others, share information, take the initiative to improve the process and solve the problem. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist with all press operations during make-ready, run and clean-up as work process requires, i.e.: - open paper, operate splicers, tape on rolls, web press, hook up and clean ink pumps, monitor ink viscosity, mount and set plates. Take direction from press operator and/or team leader. Assist with catching and packing of product,, when necessary. 2. Understand and follow order specifications and tolerances by reading docket and specification sheets. 3. Perform makeready, run and adjust ,clean-up and maintenance of imaging systems to ensure a quality product. Learn and keep updated on all imaging systems. 4. Continuously inspect product and troubleshoot imaging and press equipment to ensure product meets customer specifications. 5. Operate CRT to set up imaging programs making changes as necessary according to procedures. 6. Perform imaging and press paperwork and follow necessary consumable maintenance and productivity procedures. 7. Ensure PM's are don
